We use the best materials available, so that your SKYE pieces last decades instead of a single season. Most of our garments are made from natural, biodegradable materials such as cotton, linen, TENCEL, and wool.
All of our fabrics undergo a stringent durability and color-fastness test. As a result, your SKYE garments maintain their shape and color through repeated wash and wear.

Did you know that every time a piece of clothing is dry cleaned, a small amount of Perchloroethylene (PERC) remains on that piece of clothing and gets released into your home?
Even minimal contact with PERC can cause dizziness, headaches, nausea, skin and respiratory irritation while long-term exposure has been associated with more serious health consequences.
Except for wool coats, almost all SKYE garments can be machine washed which not only saves money and time for you, but also avoids the environmental and health hazards that come with dry cleaning.

We are more mindful when it comes to production, as we only make what we can sell. We handcraft pieces in small batches, making as close to demand as possible.

We are lucky to have the support of our community. As our way of saying thanks, we have completed the following community givebacks.

❊ We donated 20% of our proceeds from April-June to the Frontline Responders Fund, which helps provide critical personal protective equipment to medical professionals across the world.
❊ We donated over 750 of our Organic Cotton Masks to Bay Area homeless shelters to help those in need.
❊ With your help, we’ve planted over 500 trees to help with reforestation efforts around the world.
