FABRICS & MATERIALS
While the environmental impacts associated with fabric and textile processing can be harmful, there are fabrics that leave a smaller environmental footprint. We use the most sustainable materials that are available to us.
Most of our items are made from natural, biodegradable materials such as cotton, linen, TENCEL, and wool.

COTTON
One of the most common natural fibers. We use recycled and organic cotton, which are better options than conventional cotton.
Recycled cotton
Repurposed from pre- or post-consumer materials that would otherwise go to the landfill. It allows us to have that soft cotton feel without the environmental impact that comes from virgin cotton.
Organic cotton
Avoids the use of chemical fertilizers and harmful pesticides, making it safe for the environment, the farmers and you.

LINEN
A natural, beautiful and durable material from flax plants.
Ours is made from plants grown without chemical pesticides and fertilizers, which is also better for the farmers’ health and the environment.

TENCEL
A fiber sustainable grown and mindfully harvested from eucalyptus trees, which are renewable and require no irrigation or pesticides.
Many of our pieces use TENCEL as it is one of the most sustainable materials. We love that it is soft, breathable, and comes with a beautiful drape.

DEADSTOCK
Excess materials from other designers and fabric suppliers.
Approximately 10% of our products are made from deadstock fabrics. This allows us to divert these materials from landfill and repurpose them into beautiful garments and small accessories.

RECYCLED POLYESTER & POLYAMIDE
Manmade fibers up-cycled from post-consumer materials.
We use recycled polyester and polyamide, which are made from plastic wastes including used water bottles and fish nets picked up from beaches and the ocean. These manmade fibers increase the strength and durability of our garments.
