    Closet staple

This dress has such a beautifully simple, but feminine design. It hangs and moves really well and the fabric is soft, heavy, and amazing 🙂 I ordered this in a size L, but since it has an oversized fit a M would probably fit just as well. I watched the documentary “The True Cost” and has since been trying to build a more sustainable, capsule style wardrobe. This dress is probably the top 3 most worn items in my 10 item capsule and I get tons of compliments on it! I love it so much and I hope the gals at SKYE keep it around, so if something happens to the one I’m wearing I can just order another one. It would make sense as it’s such a classic piece that never goes out of style.

    Great for spring

This dress is oversized so I ordered XS instead of S. Glad I did because the XS fits just right. The fabric is quite a bit thicker than what I’m used to so I think it’s more of a fall/spring dress than a summer dress. It’ll be perfect for NorCal in Spring. The sleeves are a bit too long for me since I’m petite, so I just roll them up. Also the fabric being natural can get a bit wrinkly but I have a habit of ironing my shirts so I just iron this dress after washing.

    Best to size down

    Amelia Diaz

I’m 5’6″, this dress hits me at the knee which I think is the perfect length. I got the medium (I usually wear size 6) but decided to exchange it for small since it’s already oversized. I love the asymmetrical pocket detail and the belt prevents it from being too boxy. On weekdays I wear it with blazer/ trench and pumps and on weekends I pair it with a denim jacket and white sneakers. Personally I prefer having the sleeves rolled up and leaving a few buttons on the top and bottom unfastened.

Very well-made, not see thru at all. SKYE is quickly becoming one of my fav go-to brands for everyday, elevated clothing.
