I have owned the navy coraline coat for about 3 years now. I love the silhouette and it is stitched well. However I noticed when I first bought it that this coat appeared a bit faded than the pictures on the website. I didn’t mind too much . However over the years despite meticulous care, and cleaning per the instructions, it fades quite a bit. This is a shame because I was hoping that it would be an investment piece that would last me decades. I wrote to customer care but with no response. I hope they will keep this in mind with the fabric in future productions of this piece.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the navy Coraline coat. We’re sorry to hear that you’ve encountered fading despite your careful maintenance.
From what you’ve described, it’s possible that the detergent used during cleaning might have contributed to the fading of the coat. We would recommend checking if the detergent is suitable for dark colors or if it could be causing the fabric to lose its color.
So far, we haven’t received similar reports from other customers regarding this issue with the same coat, but we appreciate your feedback and will certainly take it into consideration for future production.

I am so in love with this trench coat. I was initially wondering why it cost so much, but now I see why. The fabric is top notch. Very good quality and feel. Navy color is classic and will go with almost anything. I love how it fits. My favorite way to wear it is to leave it unbuttoned but cinched tight at the waist, very flattering. It will make you feel like a million bucks! And I love the free gifts Skye gives, as well as the classy packaging/wrapping. Skye knows how to do it right!!
This trench coat is navy is so classic and is perfect for the upcoming Fall weather here in NY. Love all the clothing I have purchased from Skye. So happy I have discovered this company!
Love this coat! It's chic, got a slightly 90's vibe but timeless as well. It is well made, the fabric is thick. It is perfect for fall and spring.
I sized down and bought a M (I am 5' 4" and 158 pounds, usually a size L with SKYE).
Perfect outerwear for spring and fall days in the Pacific Northwest. Can handle a cashmere sweater underneath without feeling too big or cumbersome. I feel put together and comfortable every time I wear this. People stop me on the street to give compliments and ask where it is from. The oversized buttons add a nice touch. *swoon*
